3.Carnival is a national holiday in Brazil. It's celebreted in february and the stores shut down. It's an event with big celebrations. People believe that there are customs and rituals for this event. Some people dress up of wild animals and everybody getS togethet and joins in this magic event.

It is believed to owe its origins to the pagan festivals which were held by the Romans to celebrate the end of the harsh winter and welcome the Spring.
